◆　Applicants who wish to apply for an appropriate visa at the Visa Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon have to make an online reservation for visa appointment at only the Visa Appointment Booking Online (VABO) website at www.thaiconsularyangon.com/visa(this website)

◆　The Embassy limits the amount of reservation queues for visa appointment per working day. Please note that one reservation is only for one person. Due to recent circumstance that there has been an inappropriate behaviour of some individuals trying to make reservations as much as possible by using different passport numbers and fake names in order to get a lot of booking slots, resulting in high srate of "no show up" of registered applicants on the appointment date, from 7 May 2024, the Embassy stops the cancellation system so that some individuals who have dishonest bahaviour cannot make reservations and resell the reservation slots to other people. The reservation system will also be changed from opening for making the reservation 30 days in advance to be 14 days in advance. Therefore, the applicants are encouraged to thoughtfully consider the date of appointment before making reservation as the applicants cannot cancel the prior appointment and can make the reservation again after the prior date of appointment.
       The applicants who made the reservation before 7 May 2004 can still cancel the booking with the cancellation code or cancellation link in the booking confirmation email, however, the applicants who make the reservation from 7 May 2024 will not anymore receive the cancellation code or cancellation link.

◆　Before making the reservation on this VABO website of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, please carefully read the details of the required documents for applying visa, date of approval and method of payment (links appear below.)

◆　After applying for a visa and paying the visa fee at the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, the Embassy will issue the document stating the date for collecting the passport which will be 2 working days after the date of application (for example, if applying on Monday, the passport can be collected on Wednesday.). Please note that if there are any fake or incomplete documents, the Embassy reserves the rights to reject to issue the visa for that applicant.

◆　The Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon cannot guarantee in advance that visa will be issued even the air ticket is already purchased.

◆　Name must match exactly the name in your passport. If the name on the appointment schedule does not match the name in your passport, your visa application will be rejected and the new visa appointment must be booked online.
